FAQS

When is the best time to book my session?

If you have a general idea of when you would like to be photographed, please contact me as soon as possible.  During peek season in the Spring and Fall, the calendar can fill up several months in advance.

If you are expecting, congratulations! The best time to be photographed is usually late in the 7th month. You will have a sweet little bump by this time and you will have more energy then say when you are 38 weeks along!

For newborn sessions, please contact me before your little bambino arrives! That way I can put you on the calendar and we can set a tentative date for your session. Newborns are best photographed in the first ten days of life and the sweet spot is the first five days.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Cash, Check, Paypal, Puppies and all Major Credit Cards.

Is my deposit/retainer refundable if I cannot make my session?

Unfortunately, no. Your deposit is to guarantee that your session date and time is held only for you. Therefore, I will not accept any further shoots for your specified date and time.  However, I do understand life happens. We get sick, our kids get sick, emergencies come up. I will always do my best to work with you to reschedule your session so that we can apply your deposit to the new date.

How much should I expect to spend?

Seasonal mini sessions start around $150 and regular portrait sessions at $300. I also offer an amazing array of gorgeous products to decorate your life so your images don't end up on just your phone and desktop!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Please contact me for more information.

How many people are included in a session fee?

All session fees include immediate families up to 5 persons. Each additional person is $25.

Should I bring a change of clothes to my session?

Yes please! Even if we don't utilize your change of clothes, it is not only nice to have options, it is nice to have a back up just in case.

Can I share your images on social media?

Absolutely!  If I post a peek of your images on Facebook, you are welcome to tag yourself, share the image with your friends and family or use it as your profile photo.  I only ask that you do not crop, alter or remove the watermark from the image. If you have purchased the high resolution digital files, feel free to share away!  And it is always appreciated if you give credit to Eliza Moyer Photography when posting the images to your favorite social media site.

Can I purchase the digital negatives?

Of course! Digital negatives are listed as part of my A La Carte products and can be purchased individually or by session.

How long do you back up or save my images?

Your final images are stored for one year during which you may order additional products or prints via A La Carte.  After one year, I do purge all images.
